He didn't know why that surprised him. Cap (or text-Cap) had said that none of them knew how they got here, or how to get back. Peter himself had been walking down the school corridor one moment, keeping his head ducked away from the eyes of a hundred camera phones, and then the next... hello, grumpy conductor guy. Still, it hadn't really occurred to him that they were really stuck. And if the Doctor was saying it, one of the few that Peter had always thought of as being able to fix anything... He'd portalled Peter home from space once before, after all.
He was pulled from his increasingly panicky thoughts by the sudden whoosh of the cloak enveloping him. It was nice, in a freaky kind of way. Peter blinked rapidly and then gave the fluttering fabric an awkward sort-of hug or pat in return before it fluttered away, wrapping itself back into position around Strange's neck.
"That's okay. It's good to see you too." Peter hesitated. "So, you really can't just, y'know -" He waved his hands vaguely in imitation of Strange's usual incantations. " - and get us home? Only I had Spanish class."
