Mac and Abigail
"Yeah, really good." Abigail murmured, feeling a sense of pride. She had actually managed to cheer Mac up. She could even let herself believe it too. After all, she was alive and a world, or even a universe, away from where she'd been.
Abigail nodded. "I can understand that. It's hard to be surprised after magic buses and everything else." She began walking away from the balcony and used their linked arms to guide Mac along with her. "Maybe I'll even have a good dream tonight. That would be a wonderful surprise."
She looked over at Mac, checking to see how she was walking. She didn't want her to stumble and fall down. "You might have some good dreams too." Or she might pass out in her current state and not have dreams. To Abigail, that counted as good, as long as she made it home first. She had to keep her awake for now. "You can count reindeer instead of sheep if you need to, once you get to bed. That'll be fun."
