Abigail & Sirius.
"I'm nineteen." Abigail replied. She felt certain she'd had a birthday while in Hannibal's home, though she had lost track of the days. "1981..using the network and texting must be all new to you. You wouldn't have been able to go online at all." She had genuine little surprise by that. There was a time when she couldn't have imagined her life without her phone. It was her connection to the outside world.
"That's a cool trick." Abigail commented, giving the ribbon a quick look over, as if she'd see some magician's trick to it, then returning to wrapping. "Could you do it with anything?" Her mind was running with all the ways that could help if supplies on the bus or at one of its stops were ever running low. Being prepared was important.
Abigail nodded. They didn't want to give any children seizures. "The ribbons are beautiful as they are." She said with a smile. She picked out a sheet of wrapping paper and held the different ribbons to it, deciding what colour combination looked best before she began working on the next gift.
"It's sucks that people have to hide because they're different in any world." Abigail commented. There might be many problems that magic could handle, but she could see the risk in revealing what they could do. Someone would try to take advantage. They always did. His next words had her thinking that he must not have wanted to live like that. "The bus must be a good thing for you then. No laws to hold you back from using your magic."
