Re: Sleigh 1: Tony and Mac (UTC +9 to +14)
"That must be hard," she said, giving him a softer smile. "Being away from her." Especially at Christmas, even if this wasn't exactly Christmas. Actually, she wasn't at all confident what time of year it really was. It had been spring in Neptune when she'd arrived on the bus, November when they stopped and now Christmas. Hell, she didn't even know what year it was for sure. Mostly she tried not to think about it so she didn't go absolutely crazy.
"I kinda miss kids at Christmas," she admitted. "I'm not very good with kids typically, but it's different at Christmas. It's too bad yours couldn't be here with you."
"Oh my god, that was hilarious," Mac chuckled. She couldn't even be bothered to feel bad for annoying the reindeer. Mac typically held herself together, but she was just having too much fun to care. "I'm promising nothing of the sort! I'm not about to ruin Christmas for any of the kids we're delivering too, but I will be enjoying myself too much while flying."
