Re: Sleigh 1: Tony and Mac (UTC +9 to +14)
Mac frowned just slightly. She was far from the mothering type and really had no intention of ever having kids, but the one time of year that kids were the best was Christmas. She couldn’t imagine how hard it must be to experience something your knew you kid would love and not have them around to experience it with you. She did not, however, want to spoil the mood, so the smile returned to her face, though she didn’t actually change the topic. Tony seemed like an interesting guy and she would like to get to know him better, especially if they were going to spend the next few hours travelling the world in a sleigh together.
“How old is she, if you don’t mind me asking,” she said. “I have to admit that the one thing missing in Santa’s village is kids. I mean, I know, I get it, not supposed to know for sure that he’s real, but there’s really nothing like a kid at Christmas.”
“I think one of them just glared at me,” she joked. “Okay, so they do understand us, we’re just being obnoxious tourists?” At that exact moment, one of the reindeer closest to them made a huffing noise like it really could understand and it agreed with her assessment. Mac turned to Tony looking equal parts surprised and amused. “Did That just happen?”
