Re: Sleigh 3: Ariel and James (UTC +5 to +6)
It was good to see James so happy. He'd been too depressed and if she could see it, without really knowing him, it must have been bad. "That's all you can hope for, that things get better with time and friends. I'm making a lot of friends here."
"We know the way better than you, mate," one reindeer said, before turning to look forward again.
Ariel bit her lip so stop from laughing. "You've just been scolded. I hope you know that." She couldn't stop the giggle that escaped her. "I think we'll be fine if you take a break from driving and cast cooling spells when it gets warm enough, although I love the warm weather, so I don't mind either way."
She looked ahead, avoiding James' gaze. "Does it make me a bad wife? I should want to be with him, but now that the sense of adventure is gone, it's just too boring." She kept going back to that work. She turned her head to look at James. "What you have, what you talk about? Having a baby, playing mommy? People will say that it's great, but it sounds awful to me. I want to explore and see new things. I want to right wrongs. Why is it that men get to play hero and women are meant to have a family and stay home? I don't want to stay home and I don't want my life to revolve around children."
