Re: Sleigh 5: Remus and Draco (UTC -1 to +1)
Remus laughed softly. "Maybe just a little bit. Just for tonight." What Draco said made sense and Remus, nodded. "That makes sense. We can hit the northern countries first, then zigzag across western Africa and finish with the British Isles. That should save us some time on the way back up and not risk being too late for Norway. And there are plenty of spells we can use to do the actual deliveries in a rapid fashion as we go." There wouldn't be a kid left out on Remus' watch.
"Kidnapping Santa Claus is pretty much the epitome of evil," he agreed. Santa Claus was the symbol of hope for every child in the world. Kidnapping him, taking that hope away, was about the most evil think Remus could think of short of killing the 'jolly old elf' outright. But, he couldn't help perking up as Draco went on. "Mother Nature and Father Time? That's...amazing. I wonder if Father Time could tell us anything about the bus and it's purpose, how it works." Remus wouldn't mind getting some advice from Mother Nature, either.
The question about his friends was a surprise, but Remus just shook his head. "Padfoot sheds," he said drily. "It's a bit surreal. Like a warped trip back in time to when we were in school." How the two of them were managing to survive sharing a room, he had no idea.
