Re: Sirius & Remus & James.
James jumped off the side of the sleigh, trailing a hand over the wood as he wandered across to join Moony, peering over his shoulder as he toyed with the Necrohelm wand. Sweeping a hand through his hair, he slipped Sirius' wand into his back pocket and reached out to take Remus' cyprus one.
"Griffin mane. But I did rush him a bit, poor bloke," he admitted. "I knew the bus was leaving and needed something pretty sharpish. He did well to get anything out." Flicking Remus' wand, an absent-minded smirk crept onto James' face as Sirius' cloak turned a startling shade of luminous green. It took a bit more effort than it would using his own wand, or even Sirius' - a bit more concentration to will his magic in the right direction, but otherwise it seemed okay. He felt a quick rush of relief relax his shoulders - maybe he wasn't completely messed up.
"It's fine," he held the wand back out to the werewolf. "I mean, it's like you'd expect from me using your wand. That one feels like I'm trying to force magic down a drainpipe. It's all stuttery."
He followed Remus' gaze to Sirius. "Merlin knows. Who has the power to snatch people up from across time and realities and cram them all into a bus? But you'd think that something like 'kidnapping Santa' would leave a bit of a trail."
