Re: Draco/Elphaba
Elphaba narrowed her dark eyes a fraction, her whirling thoughts practically visible on her face. In the end she nodded stiffly. Although not exactly an apology, at least he seemed vaguely contrite and had returned to his normal skin tone. "Fine," she said shortly. "If it helps, there aren't any other green people in Oz either. I'm somewhat unique, in that respect."
Which probably went some way to explaining how defensive she was about the whole thing. Children were cruel when she was growing up, but Elphaba had learned that in many cases, adults weren't much better.
Happy enough to move the conversation on, Elphaba turned her attention back to the broken sleigh, turning the question over in her mind. It still seemed utterly bizarre, but then so much did to her since she'd arrived on the bus. She toyed with a loose thread on her sleeve for a moment, winding it around a long finger.
"There's plenty of magic users here, at least," she finally settled on. "So that shouldn't be a problem. Although I assume the abilities from different worlds don't necessarily work together?"
So far, Elphaba had done a reasonable job keeping her own... talents to herself. It was still too new, too big for her to consider properly, although it was becoming harder to look the other way with so much magic surrounding her.
