Re: Draco/Elphaba
Elphaba frowned as his skin flashed a violent red, both surprised and vaguely unsure if she should be offended. Probably, if her gut was anything to go by. While far from the worst slight she'd received in her twenty-nine years, that smirk was rather jarring. The older woman sniffed, squaring her sharp shoulders beneath the layers of festive wool. "Is it not rude to comment on someone's appearance where you come from?"
Elphaba privately thought that her and this boy's Mother must have violently differing parenting styles. She couldn't imagine going to such lengths for Liir. But then, she couldn't imagine raising him in a mansion. This young man was quickly starting to remind her of a young Glinda, back before she'd got a grip of herself. "How charming," she commented, her tone cool. "If only everyone was so lucky."
"He does seven billion deliveries by himself?" she repeated, pulled out of her irritation despite herself. Elphaba gave the sleigh a cautious look, as if it might suddenly spring to life. "How?"
