Sabrina wasn't the most patient of individuals on a good day. And of course, she got even worse about having to wait when she was trying to learn something new and possibly exciting. She was doing all sorts of things to keep herself from going nuts while she waited, including counting ceiling tiles and challenging herself to find items beginning with each letter of the alphabet, but it wasn't providing enough of a distraction to make a difference.
Confused when she heard the door opening but couldn't see what was doing it, she slid off the stool she was sitting on, mentally preparing how to explain herself to whoever was making their way towards her. When she realized it was a rather large dog, Sabrina nearly laughed with relief, glancing over at Salem to see her familiars' reaction to the friendly-seeming visitor. When it became apparent that Salem wasn't bothered in the slightest, Sabrina crouched down so she could read the tag, wondering if it might tell her more about the keen-eyed hound looking up at her. "Someone has a sense of humour..." she murmured with a smile. After studying those grey eyes for a moment, she straightened up once again.
"Nice to meet you, Snuffles. I'm Sabrina," she mentioned almost as an afterthought. "And that demon over there pretending to nap is Salem." She glanced at her samples with a frustrated sigh. "Don't you just hate it when the magic dirt won't respond to your specific type of magic?" she asked rhetorically, not really expecting a response, but considering the intelligence she saw in the dogs' eyes, she could sense Snuffles was no ordinary pooch.
