Re: Loki and Theo
It was a strange thing for Loki, caring about something just because someone else did. Though that wasn't the only reason why he was willing to help. Despite what the Captain may think of him, Loki had changed quite a lot during his time with the TVA and mostly he did want to help other people. At least when he thought they deserved it. And all that the locals around here had done was try to be left alone. They weren't off slaughtering humans, or torturing people, or even going near them. They simply had a different way of life that meant humans called them monster.
And if there was anyone who could empathize with being called a monster, well, it was Loki.
Theo's words warmed him from the inside and he was glad of the cover of night as he was sure he was blushing. He knew that Theo cared about him, he really did, but it was still a shock sometimes when he got a real piece of evidence of it. "I appreciated it," he said with a smile.
Loki nodded in agreement. "I have to warn you now, if anyone harms a hair on your head during this, I will kill them." He wasn't joking. They hadn't really done anything even remotely dangerous together yet, but Loki knew this could easily go sideways and he would not handle it well if anything happened to Theo. Of that he was certain. Mostly Loki wasn't about killing anyone anymore, but this was different. This was Theo.
