Re: Cal Kestis // Roman
Cal shook his head. "People of different cloth and different walks." He commented. "It'd be an awfully boring universe if we all were the same. In fact, he didn't have any issues with anyone so far. But of course, in comparison to the Sith, people would have to do some pretty evil things to get a rise out of Cal. "
"I assume the conductor did yes. Who else would orchestrate our arrivals?" Cal mused aloud. Nonetheless, he shrugged. "What ever power is in control of the vessel has it's own motivations that we are just part of." Listening intently, Cal took in the information from Roman. It was a lot to swallow, and this man had quite the tragic story- even if it was just a base level of the greater story. Nodding thoughtfully, to acknowledge he heard his words, Cal finally spoke. "That is quite the life you lived, Roman." Though there wasn't pity in his tone. "I'm sure through that, it has given you a tough skin." Considering his next words, he offered. "I'm sure this may sound surface level, but, if you need a set of ears I'm available to talk. I can't relate to what you went through, but what I can do is give you a non-judgement place."
"We'll see, but the thing is- there are many worlds and many races that I had encountered in my life." Cal laughed lightly. "I think you'd look great as either color." Thinking for a moment, Cal was thinking of all the interactions he had. He was right, Merrin being not actually human like he was, was treated with a bit more kindness. He wad proven himself a bit but when he was by himself he was seen in less desirable light. "It's interesting. I wonder, what had humans done to these people to cause such reactions."
