Re: Theo and Loki
What Loki explained sounded right and he hummed along in an agreeable way. Pain was a lesson in his home too, but fear was a more powerful motivator. "I think they do. In their own ways," he said saw the smile rise and fade across Loki's face and he wondered where his mind had gone. When Loki turned to look at him and smiled, he let it go for now. Hard topics weren't the best choice when someone was already so clearly stressed.
Theo looked down at his feet flushing slightly as he laughed. "I do what I can."
The thing was he felt very safe when he was with Loki and for the life of him he couldn't understand why Draco couldn't just take him at his word. All the noises and the screams of the hunt and everything else didn't seem to much matter. Although he still was paying attention, and couldn't help but hear the sounds of the hunt coming closer and the screams and frantic sounds of running through the trees. "I do feel like together all angles are covered," he said letting Loki take his hand, and continuing to walk. Walking hand in hand was something he never did, but he never exactly went on a date to a werewolf hunt before either. It was beautifully fractured in a nonsensically splendid sort of peculiar way.
"Draco and I fight all the time. I think the best friends you can have are the ones you can argue with and know they will still be there," he said with understanding and while he hadn't asked exactly what Draco had chose to say to Loki he knew it was cutting and sharp. That was how Draco was. "I don't think he will send you warm regards. Either way," he said with a smile at the kiss against his temple, "I guess you wont be hearing stories about my childhood from Draco."
