Who: Mac/Open When: October 7th Where: The bus What: Mac's Arrival Warning: Possible swearing
It wasn't like she was surprised that the reunion was a shit show, but she had thought that maybe, just maybe some of the idiots she went to high school with had grown up a bit in the last decade. Shame on her for expecting anything really. The rage that had filled her when Madison Sinclair started playing Veronica's sex tape for the whole reunion to see had been off the charts. What she wouldn't give to see the alternate reality where they'd not been switched at birth. Not that she didn't care about the family that raised her, but just to witness that pretentious bitch growing up poor.
When Veronica told her to leave, she knew that she had something planned. Veronica always had something planned, it was part of the reason Mac liked her so much. She was so very good at revenge and if she was asking Mac to leave, Mac would leave (even if she was sorely disappointed that she wasn't going to see whatever was about to happen). With a grin on her face, she stepped out through the doors and... onto a bus?
Mac came to a dead stop, back going rigid, her eyes narrowing in confusion and suspicion. "What the fu-" she started, only to be cut off by the creepy bus guy.
"Hello, welcome to the ab aeterno bus!"
Mac's expression changed to one that screamed 'what the fuck.'
"Please proceed to the stairs at the back of the bus. You'll find your room and all you need at the top."
Mac continued to stare at the man. "I'm sorry what?" She looked around, trying to peer out door she just came through, but she couldn't see anything. "Where the hell am I?" Mac was suddenly sure she'd completely lost her mind.
"You're on the ab aeterno bus, Ma'am."
And did this creeper really just call her Ma'am? She wasn't even out of her twenties, and this asshole is calling her Ma'am??
She tried asking him a few more questions, but she got no new information. Without any further options she could see at the moment, she peered back at the staircase again. If she was already willing to acknowledge her delusion by talking to this weirdo, she might as well continue and see what's upstairs. When she got to the top, her eyes opened wide in shock. It was like she was suddenly on some sci-fi tv show as this was much bigger than the bus this thing appeared to be when she'd boarded.
