Re: Ariel/Cal
There was a shrug. "There isn't mostly a need for me to worry." He commented. "I traveled to different planets during the conflict." Cal honestly never thought on it too much, and really was uninterested on dwelling on it. "Holograms allowed us to see each other at great distances, and when the other person you were meeting were multiple planets away- you just didn't have the luxury to travel and meet with worlds and millions of people." It was just fact. "How they governed their worlds or nations were none of my concern. We Jedi were often outside mediators to ensure peace between tension strained governments."
"Rule through force and power is singularity driven from fear." Cal commented. The Empire left everyone in fear.
"Ah." Cal made a noise, but the closest he got was the mon calimari, and this woman did not look like them. "It's deeper than that," Cal admitted. "There are many facets of the teachings that I'm sharing. Mind you, it's many years of education and training starting as a child." Then he shook his head and held up a hand. "Excessive worldly possessions." He corrected sternly. "We are not without, but we take only what we need. Not to say that the Jedi Temple didn't previously have more than it's fair share of resources, but the Jedi had used those resources widely to help the different people amidst the galaxies."
"That's fine." Cal commented with a smile. "You are obviously welcomed to your beliefs." Because, where his trust in the Force was shaken as he disconnected himself previously, he couldn't deny it's usage. Especially when seeing an items past or feeling it's guiding pull. "The Force isn't all knowing and all guiding, but when lost and needing guidance- it show's itself."
Perfect, because Cal was not going to be joining the singing this evening.
