Re: Loki/Bucky
"Stark has a child?" Loki asked, somewhat surprised. Not that he really had any right to be, he barely knew the man. He just found the information surprising. "I can't imagine what that must be like. Having children I mean. Any spawn I produced would be a nightmare, I'm sure." He laughed at the idea, but it was true. He knew he could be a lot.
Loki followed Bucky's gaze and smiled. "It really is beautiful. Even the awful parts have a certain beauty to them. And some of the worlds out there. I'm not sure I have the words to properly describe them, but mostly I just miss the freedom. I could go anywhere whenever I wanted. I miss that." He sighed, somewhat wistfully.
"I just might take you up on that," he admitted, though he wasn't sure if he was being honest. The idea of having someone to talk to was nice, but also completely foreign to him. Still, this was the sort of thing he had heard friends did. "I don't really have any idea what I'm doing or what's going on. I just... feel better when he's around." He shrugged again, like it wasn't a big deal, except that it was. Loki just wasn't sure how to deal with that yet.
The things Bucky said about Steve were the same kinds of things he'd always heard about him, but every time he spoke to the Captain at all, they just ended up arguing. "I am glad that he has been there for you, but I can't see him ever trusting me. Not that I have given him a reason to. He just, gets under my skin. I do not know how you put up with his condescending attitude. It's like because I don't do things like he does then I'm wrong and bad and quite honestly, I don't have the time for it."
