Re: Loki/Bucky
"I'm sure you would have," Loki replied with a grin. It was nice, this having friends thing.
With a nod, Loki agreed. "He does seem to have changed, but honestly, I couldn't attest to that. I can only go off some stories I've heard and his media persona, which I doubt scratches the surface of truth. Until getting here, I had very limited contact with him and most of that was either me trying to kill him or him trying to imprison me. Not a lot of time for chit chat."
"And what do you think so far? Of space I mean. Is it everything you hoped it would be?" There's a hint of teasing in his tone because what they've experienced so far has been far from what he was sure the experience of human astronauts typically had. But at the same time, he was curious to know Bucky's thoughts on space.
Loki laughed outright. "I dare say Theo and I have gone past friendship at this point," he chuckled, and if there was a tinge of blush climbing up his cheeks, well that was all down to the alcohol, surely. "But yes, I think I could use a friendly ear sometimes. I will attempt to refrain from telling you how annoyed I am with the Captain though. I have heard that is something friends do? Long story short, I can totally understand being mad at him. He also should understand that you aren't the same person he knew either and quite honestly, he needs to know that his way isn't always the best way, at least not for everyone." Loki had his own issues with Steve, but he did his best to bite his tongue. That was not what this conversation was about.
