Re: Steve/Tony
"I don't doubt it for a second. I'm not sure that you know any of the songs I know," he said, laughing, but he already knew that he'd go along. It was the least he could do. Maybe he and Bucky could find a way home, but things were harder for Tony, so if they were stuck here, they wouldn't simply enjoy life, but they'd live a productive one. "Still, I'm trust you. Don't make me regret it," he joked, although he was internally cringing at Tony's idea of a good song.
Steve stayed quiet for a moment. "It was never about strength. Maybe you can now." Tony had given his life for the universe. If that didn't qualify as worthy, he didn't know what could. "I know you will." There wasn't much more to say without getting mandolin and this wasn't the place for it.
"It does, because we can't guarantee that you will always have the suit. It could be modified in 1909 London, but who knows where we go next. I want you to know how to defend yourself, even if it's literally run and hide until we can get to you, because sometimes that is the best policy." He chuckled. "Sabrina, the young blond pretending to be my sister is a very powerful witch. Yelena is a Widow. I think they'll surprise us. And we'll just pray that some won't get distracted with the physical stuff," he said, shaking his head. "I can't even comprehend. How does a grown man get distracted like some horny teenager? We'll have to keep an eye on his companion too. Another wizard who seems to enjoy a trickster. That sounds like a recipe for disaster."
