Re: Loki/Bucky
"I don't know if destroy is the right word. Rule would be more accurate, though I would imagine the inhabitants would disagree with me," he said, trying to sound casual. It wasn't like he had actually wanted to take over New York, or Midgard at all really. Even if it would have annoyed Thor, a favourite past time, but that was a different him. Now he had no urge to rule anything.
A huff of laughter left Loki unbidden, though it wasn't a particularly happy sound. "We seem to have a lot in common. I tried to kill Stark himself while not in full control of my own mind. Threw him out the penthouse window of Stark Tower." He stared into the liquid in his glass as the memory played out in his head. "That was just before my arrest." He didn't really like thinking of that time. As much as he'd been a willing participant in the beginning, having Thanos and The Other dominating him mentally had hardly been fun and though he'd quickly figured out he'd made a mistake, it had been too late.
Loki nodded slowly in agreement. "I can see why you wouldn't want to lose control again." And he did, he himself hadn't partaken in much drinking for awhile after New York, though really he hadn't had much time, and then when he did have a moment, he couldn't wait to get out of his own head.
"It is quite magical, seeing other realms," Loki admitted, thinking fondly of his travels when he was younger. "Though I suppose we are getting a bit of that here, though it was still Earth that we appeared to be on. If we stop again, who knows where we'll be."
Loki sat back with a sigh and looked at Steve across the room for a moment. "I know he's your friend and all, but I think that's a him problem. You shouldn't have to hide because he may not like it."
