Re: Loki/Bucky
Bucky's laugh this time was far lighter. "I'll keep that in mind the next time I'm in a self-flagellating mood." It was much easier to joke about than to admit how often those moods were a reality in the middle of the night when his choices were cooking, the internet, or staring at the ceiling in impotent frustration.
He grinned, watching Loki's expression of indignation over the empty glass. But, his curiosity was caught by the offer. "Can you?" he asked. "Magic? Or you know of something strong enough? Nott introduced me to something from his world called Firewhiskey. Brought the burn back, but the buzz." He shrugged and said, "not so much. I don't know if I'd trust myself to get drunk, yet." The admission was...well, hell, not as unlikely as he'd like to think if he considered everything he'd blurted out at Sam and Dr. Raynor.
A small chuckle bubbled up at the admonition. "Just waiting for everyone else to be a little more drunk and a little less observant. Any requests? Everything I can think of is either so old only Steve will appreciate it or too...honest. I'm still trying to catch up on the last seventy years of pop culture."
