Re: Draco/Theo
"The limited scope of your imagination is astounding, Malfoy," he said with indifference. What made someone a witch or a wizard other than being gifted with the ability to use magic? People from another time or place or interpreted magic differently still had magic. That changed nothing in his mind. Had he known Draco's thoughts he would have agreed to one point at least. He never did fit in well in the Ministry and he was there to satisfy his own curiosity. "The what do you suggest? We hide away and play with the dark arts for hours. For the sake of learning?" He joked although the idea wasn't the worst in the world.
Theo laughed a little. That much was accurate and the how she had managed to accomplish murdering Bellatrix Lestrange did raise her merit some. Still, people from home were not the only source for knowledge. He suspected Draco would figure that out in his own time. Or not. Either way it wasn't about to stop him from seeking to know that which interested him.
Reaching for his glass he found it was becoming empty far faster than he had hoped, but he still drank and said nothing. His expression did note the air of truth in Draco's words. Potter was a problem. One he might be able to correct or sabotage if need be, but a potential problem all the same.
"It's not so trivial as all that," he said to the point. "It's not just some new novelty I've become fascinated with," he said stubbornly. Although he couldn't fault Draco from saying it, it was his usual was so it wasn't that much of a stretch. "Fine you can brew it and feel better you won't get bitten and I will continue as I am," he said knowing of Draco's fear. He looked at Draco, and the flash of bright anger in his eyes wasn't hard to miss. Standing up from his seat he finished what remained in the bottom of his glass and fully intended to head to the bar.
"Who knows, if you stop eating for a moment and take some time to see what's around you might keep occupied. Or you can sit and whine and get fat while you wait for Potter to save you."
