"Nah, I was always going to come. I just wanted to know what the punishments were for not," Bucky replied with a smirk and a wink. "Might have been more fun."
Stormy blue eyes traced the path Loki's gaze had been fixed on before Bucky sat down and his smirk deepened. The expression reminded him a bit of how Steve and Peggy used to look at each other when they thought the guys weren't looking. Of course, everyone within five feet of them could see it. Loki wasn't quite that bad. Bucky didn't want to smack either of them and tell them to stop with the moon eyes, at least.
"It was a good performance, I'll give you that," he said rather than poking fun like he might have with Steve. "The song Asgardian? Or something you picked up somewhere else?" He realized he had no idea what kind of travels a thousand year old demi-god might have had over the course of that millennium.
