Re: Draco/Theo
"Why wouldn't I be? It's endlessly fascinating to me and I do spend my career seeking curiosities," he explained and suspected immediately that Draco wouldn't understand him. "I dont want to just accept what I know, I want to know the things my mind hasn't yet imagined." He said while drumming his fingertips on the edge of the table. "And I am fond of some people here. Naturally some more than others."
Theo thought the scope of Draco's imagination was forever tainted by his pampered upbringing. He didn't have to do anything he didn't want to. Obvious exceptions aside. He didn't need to try, he could hide away and wait for anything to go his own way. So he was digging in his heels now and Theo wasn't really surprised. It didn't much matter anyway he'd have to deal with people here in time, no matter his want to. "And what spells do you hope to learn from Mrs. Weasley? Or Prewett as is the case. She is rather young."
"And that's you. Not me." He said stubbornly. He didn't want to spend the evening arguing about Harry Potter or talking about him at all. He knew they would never see eye to eye on this. Harry Potter wasn't going to come crashing in and save the day. There was nothing to save them from. This was something else entirely.
Theo just watched Draco return to his sundae and sipped on his drink occasionally as they spoke. "I do feel connected to this place. How about the fact that making a small space rather large is a common trick from our world?" He pointed out. "I have the ingredients, so if you think we can brew it successfully we can try it. I have a cauldron." He said and sighed and leaned back in his seat. He couldn't really fault him for missing his life, he did have more waiting for him than he did. "Fine." He said with a huff. "I will help you. Even if I think it is utterly hopeless."
