Re: Ariel/Cal
"Me either, but I'm sure we will both learn it soon enough." Cal offered with a bit a hop in his tone. "Technology only gets easier as you use it more." After all, that's how he got so good at fixing and modifying droids.
There was a pause before he spoke. "A system is what they call a gathering of planets. It's short for solar system. These planets all revolve around a sun. Where I'm from we can travel to many different planets and solar systems using ships similar to this one." It was as good as Cal could get in his definition. His master was much better in explaining things than he was.
"Princess?" That was a bit of a shock, but if there were gods suppose there would be princesses too. "Yes, helping people on the surface is always right and just- but helping isn't enough. The people need to help themselves also for longevity of life. 'Teach a man to catch a scalefish, feed him for a life time' sort of thing." He smiled warmly though. "It's nice to meet someone who has same type of ideology." He paused. "So, you said you were to be married? Is your husband here, or no, you said you were pulled away. That must be tough."
Following her motion, he shrugged. He wasn't much in the singing camp. He wasn't able to carry a tune very well when he had ever tried, plus all this music was so foreign to him anyway.
