Who: Merrin and Cal Kestis. When: Tuesday Morning. Where: Entering the bus. What: Two new guests enter the bus. Warning: Low.
Since the encounter with Darth Vader and being saved by Merrin, Cal felt his world flip a bit. Making the decision to hide the existence of the Force sensitive children was the correct path to take, and now it simply left himself and the crew of the Mantis to decide their next handful of decisions to make. Now that they were known to the Empire as a whole, it made things a fair bit more interesting and dangerous. With that danger in mind, returning back to Bogano to re-calibrate themselves, it was getting time to leave the planet once more.
Walking with Merrin, honestly someone he found himself latching too a bit because of their close proximity in age, he glanced to her. "We have a long road ahead of ourselves." He admitted to the woman. "After we get on the ship, we'll have to have BD help plot our course to our next location." Cal was more interested in keeping ahead of the Empire than playing a reactive game with the encroaching dark side.
Stepping up the gangway to enter the ship and stepping in, it was very suddenly different. He looked around, and it wasn't the Stinger Mantis at all. He looked to Merrin who was with him, and then back to the door which they had come through, and Bagano wasn't through the other way. Instead a vast expanse wilder than his imagination. Then a portly man started speaking to him, only introducing himself simply as the conductor. The explanation was wild, even in the eyes of a Jedi. Time and space? Sure space makes sense? But time? After the explanation and handing of a device which they were told was a phone, Cal was left with Merrin and left with more questions than answers. Despite Merrin's attempts to confront the man about the situation. Something something, return us back to where we came from. Thank the Force for allowing him to have Merrin with him in this journey.
First he looked to Merrin, before back to where they had entered. "Hm." Then his head swiveled towards the spiral stairs that was pointed out to them. Will of the Force obviously bestowed this bus on them. Cal then looked to Merrin and sighed. "I suppose we should go see what's there is to see." Cal looked down and thumbed the device that was given to him. "Whatever there is to say, this technology is seemingly primitive in design." Instinctively, he felt for his lightsaber, and thankfully still had that.
