Re: Loki & Tony
"I'm both intrigued and terrified." Did he want to know what Loki found out at that time agency he'd been at? Tony wasn't sure. If there had been a way to deal with Thanos without him apparently dying, that might just infuriate him. Not at Loki, specifically, just in general. It was never fun to hear that your death could have been avoided if someone else got off their ass and helped out.
"I like easy, but I don't usually trust deceptively easy. That tends to make me think trap," he admitted. Loki was right, though. This would be a hell of a lot easier if they knew who they were at least looking for. It probably wasn't a noble, but even that couldn't be completely ruled out. Some of the nobility in 18th century France had initially been for that revolution, after all. It had turned out very poorly for them, but there had been a tiny minority. "It is more fun to cause chaos than to clean it up. Maybe there will be a chance for a bit of both tonight," he joked.
"It really is the best way to deal with these things," he admitted, laughing as well. Even if he probably shouldn't do that here. The last thing he needed was to catch syphilis from someone at this party. "And true. Just got to find the most enjoyable way."
