Re: Bucky and Peter
"You make a fair point. I think I've seen enough in my world that very little seems out of place in it," Bucky agreed, nodding his concession on that point. "But, we don't know that any of us are from the same world or timeline."
Though not the artist his best friend was, Bucky could still appreciate the artwork he was seeing in front of him. He didn't know what the Hermit was in a modern deck, -- although it sounded appropriate given his preferred lifestyle before teaming up with Sam -- but he couldn't help the cough of laughter at the explanation of what this card meant. "I guess I don't need to tell you the story of my life when you can read it for yourself. If you flip another one of those over and it involves science experiments, I might have to actually start believing in a Greater Power again."
Leaning back, he shook his head. "I think this is the era when most people smoked, they just did it in separate rooms. As long as you aren't smoking in front of a lady, you should be fine." His internal clock was telling him they were running out of time, though. So, he sat up. "Are you going to be okay in here? I should get back out there before someone notices they're short a footman. I'll let the others know to pass information through you here, though, and check in as often as I can."
