Re: Loki & Tony
"If this is normal, then you've been dealing with full fucked up," Tony said bluntly. Tony knew that his idea of normal was skewed, but damn. Steve had told him a little bit about what happened to Loki since New York, but if this was feeling normal for him, then he must have went through some extra craziness.
"That would be nice, but it would be too easy if we had all the information," he said dryly. He wondered if this was some sort of test. If they didn't pull it off, would there be some sort of repercussions? Well, other than this world likely going into complete chaos, of course. And not the fun, free falling in the sky kind of chaos, but the bad kind that would probably end up killing all the people of this world somehow. Unless they'd figured it out already, they would be on the cusp of chemical warfare. They'd be able to kill each other really easily soon if things really got out of hand. "At least knowing who we were fighting would be nice."
Tony took a glass as well, making a note to not take too many more. He didn't drink quite as much as he once did, and, while his high tolerance still hadn't gone away, he didn't want to get drunk. Just enough to relax a little and pass the time until they did have to possibly fight. Plus, if he had to talk to too many nobles to blend in, he was going to need to be buzzed to not strangle them. "I did, too. Rich people like to raise money for charities at them, but they were always just an excuse to get drunk and talk to each other about how much money you had." He grinned a little. "I wish I had pranked more than a few people at those things. I used to just make fun of them or find someone pretty to fool around with in a closet." He'd been a PR nightmare back in the day. Poor Pepper, having to deal with his constant messes.
