Re: Dipper and Roman
"That's because most people understand that just because you can say something doesn't mean you should say it," he said with a sigh. "You can call me Mason if you want. It's just a name." He offered and figured that odds were this guy probably wouldn't talk to him much anyway. Which might be a win for him, he thought. Who knew what Roman would say or do and how awkward or embarrassing it would be.
"I don't like parties much," he said with a shrug. "They are alright but I only go to them when I have to. It's not my scene." He said attempting to try and talk a little. As much as Roman rubbed him the wrong way he did try to give people a chance. "Hanging out with friends is alright though, but a big place full of strangers it isn't really for me." He said rocking back on his heels as he spoke.
Dipper laughed and shrugged. "Money would be nice, but it's not a field that pays big. Finding out if something exists or doesn't or if a legend is true or not is kind of cool though. A lot of time it isn't" He said with a small frown. "When it is though its kind of mind blowing finding out something you didn't know existed is like an actual real thing," he said a bit more brightly.
"I just think a place anyone here on the bus is from is probably somewhere you'd hear of if it was in your own world," he thought. Or in his case he thought it was most likely. Odd places and people and events was his business. "Wealth isn't distributed equally anywhere I've travelled. There are people who own more and have more and in small towns in sticks out more. "
He looked at Roman a bit thoughtfully. "Would you even care if they did? You know, starve?" He asked.
