Re: Loki & Tony
Tony actually did have someone to blame for the trauma that he'd suffered from New York, but it actually wasn't Loki. Sure, he'd been pissed at the guy, but he hadn't been the one to send a fucking nuke into New York at the expense of eight million people. As much as he didn't really like Fury, he at least respected that the man had went against his superiors and called to let them know what was coming. It was pure stupid luck that he had come back through that wormhole. No, Tony placed his hatred squarely on the heads of the council that made that call. "2023, actually. Been a while since our first go around in New York." He'd went there again to try and get the Tesseract, but that hadn't worked out so well. Or maybe it had, since Loki was standing here because of that.
"It's really more of a question of if they can stand to wait that long. That would be the smarter plan, but it wouldn't be the first time someone got antsy and plowed ahead of a plan." Hell, he'd done it a time or two when he was younger. "They'd have to be a masterful shot with a gun from this period. I don't know how different the tech might be, but normally, guns weren't super accurate in this day and age. Rifles were pretty good, but anything else you'd be better off getting as close as you can get away with." Of course, guns might be more accurate here because of other advancements. Probably wasn't a good idea to assume.
