Re: Bucky/Ariel
"Unless those deadly people are nobility," he pointed out with a slight smirk, thinking of T'Challa and Shuri and M'Bakku. And, although the evidence didn't point that way, they still couldn't completely rule out the possibility that someone in the nobility was positioning the rebellion to take the fall for an assassination. It was something he would have done if this had been his job. "But, it's a good plan." And something well within her skill set, what he knew of it. "Peter's been moved to the fortune teller's room. So, if you find out something and can't one of the rest of us to pass information onto, go to him. I'll be keeping touch as I go."
He pressed his lips together to suppress a very unseemly smile. "There are rules for everything," came his amused agreement. "Even moreso in this society. Who's Percy?"
Surprised by her inquiry, he took a moment before responding, weighing his words. "I empathize because theirs is very close to the world Steve and I grew up in, the one we lived in before the war. I understand the desperation that's led them to this point, even if I disagree with their methods. The rest...it's a job, a job you could say I was built for."
