Re: Bucky/Ariel
"I don't underestimate anyone, but these deadliest people are unlikely to pass as true nobility. There's always something that betrays them. I found that to be true in Atlantica, Tirulia and now here. Even Loki and I, who don't share the same customs, can spot the differences. I plan to do just that. If there's someone who doesn't belong, I'll figure it out," she said with conviction, even though she kept smiling.
"I'm pretty sure none of them would appreciate it if I showed up with a tiara bigger than theirs though. There are rules to these things. Again, I don't know the particulars, but it's why I went for this smaller one, appropriate for the rank." She couldn't help a little smirk. "Not even a royal dukedom, how have I fallen!" She was glad that no one was around, because she started giggling at her own words. "Percy would be horrified that I'm hiding my titles, but they'd notice an extra princess."
She looked at Bucky, head tilted. "But enough about me. How are you faring? Are you all right? You empathize with the very people we need to stop, while you dislike the ones you're attending to. I can't be easy."
