Re: Ariel/Loki
Ariel laughed lightly, never too loud at parties, but open enough to show that she was genuinely amused. She had perfect that skill long ago, but at least it was one thing that came naturally to her and it was even easier because Loki was funny. "I'd have loved to attend a party that you organized. Maybe you should have one, on the bus, once we leave this smelly town. You can show me what it would be like."
She smiled. "Then I shall have to do more to cause you to laugh, since I haven't seen it." Ariel was nice, but not stupid. "I know you wouldn't. I wouldn't have asked to go together if I thought that you would let me get hurt."
She hadn't viewed magic like that until now. "I suppose, although Ursula did magic under the sea, so I don't know if that's accurate in all cases, but I can see it." She shook her head. "I've spoken to him by cell, but not in person. I'll remember that."
She laughed. "I didn't say I'm a stranger, but I can't cast magic. Now, if we're ever stuck in the middle of the sea, then I can save you all. I just need to talk to the fish and have them carry us ashore."
