Re: Ariel/Loki
“Oh, I know. And I’m glad I didn’t have to be apart of that. Though I must admit, if I had been involved with the planning, then things would’ve been much more interesting,” he said with a smirk. He was known as the god of mischief for a reason after all. “I know I wouldn’t care about napkin colours, but I don’t care about any of this stuff. Things would’ve been much different if I were in charge.” He wondered, sometimes, what it would’ve been like if he’d grown up with his birth family. As much as he’d heard bad things about his people, he’d also been lied to a lot and was curious to know what his people were actually like.
“I laugh plenty,” he responded, though there was a note of mirth. The fact was, he used to laugh a lot, but hadn’t had much occasion to until more recently. He does offer he a real smile though. “Neither of you need worry. I will allow no harm to come to you.”
“Technology is a strange breed of magic,” he said by way of agreeing. “I haven’t had much need of technology for the most part, but it can be quite fascinating. Have you met Tony Stark? He showed up recently. If you want to learn about technology, he’s probably your best bet.”
Loki looked impressed. “You see? You’re no stranger to magic, at least. That’s more than I can say for a lot of people. Knowledge is power and all that. I would bet you’re stronger than you think. Or at least stronger than some people give you credit for.”
