"There's a lot of major events that take place in the Bible so that doesn't really narrow it down. I wonder if it has anything to do with the Unholy Regalia, although I can't think it would. I suppose that's a conversation for another time." She blinked when he took her hand and guided her towards the couch to sit down.
"Only if you want to. Although I suppose that would be one way to keep your skills sharp between worlds," she mused. "Oh... I think it has something to do with you calling my reality a mind fuck. I mean, I know that it is one, but having you state it so bluntly just brought up some weird feelings. Like, this whole thing? Playing pretend? This is probably as close to being normal as I'll ever get..."
She rolled her eyes playfully. "At mortal high school, I was the weird, outspoken kid. At the other school I was the half-breed. It's like I didn't fit in anywhere. And, at the Academy, I had to work twice as hard as everyone else because I had a family legacy to uphold... come to find out it wasn't even my real family legacy." She considered other home safety spells. "The last time someone was this concerned about whether or not I was getting laid, it was my father wondering if Nick had managed to corrupt me."
