"I did not. Was that the family business or a cover for your cover?" That was one strange sentence and yet it was the sort of questions that seemed totally normal while talking to Sabrina. "I was thinking more about the web spiders make and not the fact that they can talk to witches, but maybe we should let the spiders in. If there are other witches, we can connect with them. It has to be less boring than this." He chuckled. "We had a cook and a maid. Not making a complete mess was how I felt useful." He stopped and then shook his head. "That's not true. I never gave a fuck if I was useful or not."
He laughed. "Sure, make my powers completely useless. I guess I don't have to mesmerize anyone and you can turn into a guy and we go for a walk. That's all."
He snorted. "We can send a text and see if anyone at the store is still looking for a place to stay and we can give them a room. Do you want to?" Roman didn't mind sending the text, but Sabrina was definitely the most sociable of the two. "We won't tell them about the bed test, since they might not appreciate it."
