Sabrina shrugged. "I grew up in a mortuary, did you know that? Anyway, we did a lot of straightening up, because we were constantly having showings or hosting wakes. Also, one of my aunties has spiders as her familiar. I'm sure you're aware that spiders can hide pretty much anywhere. And while I doubt anyone here uses spiders to spy on their neighbors, better safe than sorry. Besides, I like cleaning, as much as I like doing the cooking and stuff like that. It helps me feel like I'm being useful."
She giggled softly as he entered the room. "Oh sweetie... I have spells that can make me effectively invisible, look like someone or something else, and even to turn a person into a humanoid spider or a living doll. Although I don't think those last two would be all that useful in this situation. If worse comes to worse, I have ways of altering peoples' memories. Now that I really think about it, I could do a lot of really mean things if I ever wanted to. I mean, we even have a spell to make someone impotent."
She perked up at the mention of inviting others to stay there. "I think that's a great idea. We definitely have the extra space for people. And I do believe we've done a bang up job of testing all the beds to make sure they're both comfortable and durable."
