Who: Abigail and Open Where: The Holodeck When: March 9th, afternoon What: Holodeck malfunctions in a cute way.
Abigail wanted to completely forget how their last stop had ended. She considered a program that sounded cute, a visit to a dog park, then changed her mind. She wanted to be surrounded by beauty and decided that the most famous art museum she could think of, the Louvre, would be the right place to visit. She ran the program, stepped inside and wandered the halls of the museum, looking at each work of art in turn.
Abigail tried to study each piece and imagine how Hannibal would have appreciated it. It was more difficult than she thought. There were details that she never expected. A textured painting that looked almost furry and led her to wonder how it had been accomplished. There was an angel statue with a tail. It occurred to her that it might have been meant to be a demon's tail, indicating some kind of symbolism of good and evil, but that felt like a stretch. The tail was cute. The odd details seemed to continue as she walked along. It was nothing that she had expected from the museum.
Abigail stopped and stared when she reached the one painting she felt certain she would have recognised. The Mona Lisa. Only, Mona Lisa had the face of a dog. She closed her eyes for a moment, and re-opened them. The dog-faced Mona Lisa was still right in front of her.
Abigail heard the holodeck doors open behind her and someone walk inside. "I didn't do that." She said, gesturing to the painting before looking over her shoulder to see who had joined her.
