Tony & Abigail
Tony knew that the good guys didn't always lose, but he knew that sometimes they had to make sacrifices for the greater good. It was always something that he'd hated. They should be able to fight the good fight, and then be able to go home to their loved ones and do the happily ever after thing like in the movies. That didn't always happen, though. Sometimes, the heroes didn't come home. They sacrificed themselves to save others, or they just got caught in the crossfire. That was the awful truth about being a hero.
"You're not wrong." He'd sometimes worried that Peter was too pure for this life. He'd always been so full of optimism and good expectations for everyone around him. "And don't worry, I can definitely find the right drinks." Because he'd never forget Peter. He hadn't for five years and he wasn't about to start now.
