Tony & Abigail
Abigail shrugged. The answer she would have given yesterday was the chance to survive and the freedom that her world lacked. In light of what happened, both answers felt like a cruel joke. "If there's a point, we don't get to know what it is." She said instead. There were far more qualified people that the bus could have taken on its missions than herself. She hadn't even technically finished high school. Others on the bus were more powerful, but still being put up against strange situations without preparation. She suspected it only made sense to the conductor.
Abigail stood slowly, watching Tony walk away. She hesitated for a moment. Grief affected everyone differently and she didn't know Tony well enough to assume she could help. Eventually, she took a few quick steps to get closer to him, still staying behind him. "What would Peter have said the point was?"
