"I'm not sure I would call what happened relaxing," Theo said, but he supposed if Derek had already witnessed the death of billions, maybe watching an entire planet be destroyed wasn't that much different. "I don't know much about how computers work, but that does make sense."
Theo couldn't help his look of distaste at the mention of jeans and t-shirt, though they looked good on some people. "Maybe for some people. I like this." He smoothed the Transfigured robes a bit, just for something to do with his hands. "I will keep it in mind for the next human reality we go to, provided we go to one." This had been his first world, and it had been far from human.
"Yeah, that...seems to be an accurate assessment of our situation. One problem resolves one way or another and a new one arises. Seems inevitable, doesn't it?" And inescapable, at least as long as they were on the bus.
Worrying about things was a natural state for Theo, but he wasn't going to admit that. "Train, learn, move forward. Got it."
