That did nothing but make Bruce uncomfortable. He frowned, staring at his hands and trying not to clench them. If Fury thought he could be controlled like some king of tamed beast, he had another thing coming. He didn't want to, but he would cause another mess if he had to. That would be a last resort, though. The last thing he wanted was for Fury to bill Tony because he couldn't control himself.
He decided to ignore that for now. Maybe he'd talk to Tony later about SHIELD and how he handled them.
"I'm sure if he needed to, Tony could do brain surgery while also making a new version of his suit. Let's just hope it doesn't come to that because whatever brain he works on might suddenly have mechanical parts in it." He smiled a little and shook his head. "God, I don't even really want to imagine that. Let's never tell him that, okay? He doesn't need ideas."
For as smart as Bruce was, he never really though about structure being something that helped him keep a cap on his anger problem. Discipline, yes, but never structure. He tilted his head a bit, thinking that through, and then nodded. "I never thought of it that way, but it makes sense. I seem to lose control mostly when I don't have something solid under my feet. Natasha showing up definitely caused that particular structure to buckle a bit."
