Bruce frowned; as much as it did hurt to know just what you did, he knew the frustration of not being told. There was just something in him, and obviously Clint, that needed that hurt in order to start to fix things. He would find out everything for Clint, and for himself, about that time with Loki. If he approached it right, he was sure Tony would help. Hopefully.
But that would be later, something he could give Clint after he researched some.
"Whether you did it out of guilt or anger doesn't matter. The fact that you did it still amazes me. From the footage I saw, you were in control of yourself and your anger." His lips quirked a bit. "Surely you understand how I appreciate that."
He hesitated, a little surprised that he didn't feel more uncomfortable with Clint staring at him like that. "I have a lot of reasons for what I do, but most of them start with that, yes."
