"I don't think our files mean a damn thing anymore," Bruce told him honestly. "And if someone comes up to either one of us and tries to bring something up, we just need to look at them, remind them patiently about New York, and walk away." He smirked, just a little, and leaned forward. "And if they don't let us walk away, we can give them a first-hand experience on how we helped them. After all, anyone who reads our files would be military or SHIELD and the Other Guy doesn't particularly like either one."
He watched Clint for a moment before leaning back again, rubbing his chin. "You didn't want to just talk about Him, though. At least, not completely. What's on your mind?"
