"Making him work at Area 51, huh?" It was mostly a joke, but that was about the only thing out there that Tony could remotely believe S.H.I.E.L.D. was involved with. "Guess we know now that there wasn't really an alien crash back in the 50's." Tony paused as the thought went through his head that it may well have been his father's technology as opposed to a UFO, and his eyebrow quirked at the thought.
"Well, now that you've lost your good one." That comment of Fury's had never left Tony's mind. In fact, he replayed the scene quite often, despite his mantra of "live in the moment." He couldn't help it. He hadn't realized how much he actually liked Coulson until the man was gone, and now he couldn't say anything about it. He certainly wasn't going to say anything to Fury, anyway.
He sighed and shook his head. "Well, listen, I need to give Cap a call and make sure security is tight here. Either Barton or I'll let you know if something changes."
