She seemed lucid enough...enough to get the job done. Her eyes flicked upwards at Magneto, appearing no more sane or crazed than was alleged. So, he was alive. And they were finally going to get something done. It seemed like for so long they were leaderless, running around, trying to fight for their survival. No more, the Brotherhood was back and this time they were going to make the world stand still. The idea of revenge began creeping into her current mind and fill her thoughts where it hadn't before. Buried somewhere in the depths of her mind Rogue had a score to settle.
When Magneto mentioned fortification, she took no pleasure in the amount of work that was going to have to be done to secure the place from a technical stand point. The idea of shutting Mystique out didn't settle with her too well. She trained Rogue how to wield many different kinds of weapons. She knew what Mystique was capable of first hand and she was definitely someone you'd think twice about crossing, if you were smart. Rogue gave a bit of a whistle through her teeth. "Yer talkin' 'bout total system replacement. We gotta get rid o' hand scanners, retinal scanners, all that...She's too good."
Rogue was ripped from her thoughts from John's comment. "Damn straight," she gave him a quick nod. Again there was a heated tingle in her hand. She clenched her fist to ebb out the numbness that was creeping down to her tips. "You got to fly back...in a jet. Ah'm here from the sweat of my brow."
