Scott ran a hand through his hair and tipped his head when he heard a familiar voice, a little too familiar for him to be able to pin-point it exactly. No matter, he would find out who it was soon enough.
When he wandered into the front room, his lips curled up into the merest hint of a smile as he leaned against the doorway, crossing his legs at the ankle and folding his arms.
"Look what the cat dragged in," he murmured, voice quiet and teasing. "No one told me you were coming back," he chuckled, "Welcome home, Kitty."
