Here Comes The Sun
Title: Here Comes The Sun
Rating: R
Summary: Set in 202, after Jennifer asked Brian to ''take her son''. Some of the dialogues borrowed directly from Queer As Folk. This is my first QAF fiction, and if I made any mistakes while writing or posting it, please feel free to just tell me. Thanks!
“ Could you shut up?’’ I said, not really feeling that impatient as I sounded.
Five minutes ago, I was still trying to get rid of Justin’s big hug and a series of furious kisses while I picked him up at his house. Too embarrassed to come up with any word, I simply nodded at Ms.Taylor(who replied exactly the same way), then carried Justin’s duffle bag and told him to get in my jeep.
He crawled in the front seat swiftly. And since then, he hasn’t stop mumbling something about his mother. What a brat.
“ What for?’’ He asked unmindfully, looking out at other cars passing by us.
“ Because I said so. Because you sound like an immature brat. ” Christ. I hate hearing the delight in my casual voice.
“ Maybe I am.” The brat grinned at me. But he did shut up for a while.
It had been raining for a week, and the sunlight finally showed up this morning. The streets were filled with people hanging out, enjoying the good weather, lining up in front of an ice cream stand.
Justin looked down at his right hand. He was biting his bottom lip as he began to stroke it. The way he frown trampled my heart like a mad bull.
“ Ouch! ” He shook his hand in frustration. “ Fucking… Hobbs.”
I felt my hand slightly trembled, and managed to hold still to the wheel. “ Just don’t think about it, okay? “
He didn’t say anything. Try harder. Say something. Do something. Whatever makes him feel better. I got an idea, and decided to turn back at the next crossroads.
“Want some ice cream, Sunshine? ”
“ Oh, sure.” Justin smiled like a little child. That’s my Sunshine. He added, “ I want vanilla, three balls. “
“ You know, two is actually enough for a male. “ I stared at him, enjoying my joke. He giggled, in a silly yet adorable way.
“Alright. Two is enough. ”
Three minutes later, he began licking at my little gift. His tongue moved up and down like a puppy to finish the ice cream in a record time. Then he leaned closer to feed me the other ball he’s left for me.
I took a bite. The sweet chilling taste was dancing in my throat. As I swallowed some other parts, I felt his moist tongue licking my chin to clean up some melted ice cream. But it wasn’t the only thing that was melting.
I drew a deep breath and turned left at a street just before I missed it. Meanwhile, one of my hands was running through his blond hair almost unconsciously. I slid through the skin of his neck and could feel every muscle was completely relaxed.
“ Finish it. “ Justin pushed the ice cream near my mouth, and I did what he said. Suddenly his lips met mine in a deep, tender kiss, with his tongue sliding in to share the ice cream. He had taken off the seatbelt, so he could nestle his body in my chest while gently picking my upper lip.
His lips were so soft. And the way he slowly explored my mouth was just…amazing. It wasn’t because of the experienced skills. It was the trust he shows in his every move, the spoiled smile he flashes me, as if he was saying: “ No matter what I do, I know you’re never gonna hurt me.”
Noticing we were about to collide with the black car in front of us, I braked sharply, just in time to avoid the accident. Justin screamed, grabbing my arm so tight that it hurts.
“ Don’t worry. I’m fine.” He ensured me even before I had a chance to speak. When did this brat learn to read my mind?
“Holy shit!” I said, “ Who says texting or talking on the phone when driving is dangerous? Nothing could be more distracting than eating an ice cream. “
He looked kinda guilty. “ Sorry. My fault. “
I shrugged. “ I was the one who baught it. “
Now we’ve arrived at my loft, finally. We shared the ice cream cone in the car before getting out.
“ Maybe we should only have ice cream in your loft. “ says Justin, wrapping his fingers around mine as we entered the living room, “ It’s much safer. “
“ Yeah, it’s always wonderful to have some ice cream in the hot summer. “ And my Sunshine, I said to myself.
