And it worked. Just as Robbie was wondering why Riannon was looking at him, she broke away from her gaggle of friends and started to approach him. Right away he thought he should stand up straight and maybe tug at the bottom of his Ravenclaw blue shirt. It wasn't because it was her that he thought to do these things, but he had been slouching against the building and when someone who was over six foot slouched it just made them look unimpressive.
The glare from the sun made him squint a bit and he inwardly cursed the fact that he had forgotten his sunglasses. Squinting made Robbie's face look odd and he didn't exactly need to look odd when a fit girl was walking over to him.
As soon as Riannon smiled, he forgot about his own face and concentrated on hers, "I admit it," Robbie said with his hands held up in front of him like he had been caught doing something, "I was bird-watching. The gray crested crane has always interested me." Now a cocky grin appeared on his slightly scrunched face (only because of the sun), "Did you come over here to chastise me for bird-watching or to point out other types?"
